Final Essay-- Thesis and Topic Sentenses

Thesis:  Although some opponents claim that the use of mobile technology should be allowed in the classroom, the mobile devices should be banned because students will distract themselves and others; some students may use them to cheat; and commonly using mobile devices in the classroom is disrespectful to the instructor.

Topic Sentenses: 

Mobile devices should be banned in the classroom because they draw students' attention away from the class. 

Mobile technology should not be allowed during the class because some students may use them to cheat.

Because using mobile technology often is disrespectful to the teachers, it should be banned during the class.
Some students believe that using mobile devices to take notes will improve their study,  but, unfortunately, they may actually be impairing their learning.
