One purpose that the writer wants to attain is to clean contaminated water, using water purifier. In our daily life, we utilize the ion-exchange method, distillation or other appropriate methods to obtain the pure water, but it may not work in some developing countries. In this case, the Dean Kamen’s approach contains great significance. Firstly, the crystal clear water, the outgrowth of purification, is effective in promoting metabolism because of its high solubility and the strongest affinity with human cells. Besides, Drinking more purified water will cleanse the oil in human digestive system and reduce their blood lipids, and it will also lower cholesterol levels. By contrast, more intake of the dirty water is more likely to suffer diseases. In conclusion, it is a great invention because it will bring a more healthy life of civilians of the developing world.
